Rishta grew out of a simple observation from decades of hands-on matchmaking at Lahore Marriage Bureau: the families who found lasting matches were never the ones who met the most people — they were the ones who met the right people, introduced with honesty and context. We built this platform to carry that principle into technology.

Verification before visibility. Every photo is reviewed before anyone sees it. Identity, education, and employment verification are built into the platform, not bolted on — and the verified badge means a human checked real documents.

Privacy as the default. Your photos stay blurred to non-matches until you decide otherwise. Your last name is hidden by default. Your profile never appears in Google unless you explicitly opt in. These are not settings buried in a menu — they are how the platform works from the moment you join.

Compatibility you can understand. Our matching engine scores eight dimensions — faith, lifestyle, education, career, location, family values, interests, and personality — weighted by what you say matters. Every match comes with a plain-language explanation of why, never a mystery number.
