Legal
Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026 · This policy is a working draft — have it reviewed by legal counsel for your operating jurisdictions before public launch.
What we collect
Information you provide: account details (email, phone), profile information (name, date of birth, religion, education, profession, family details, photos, and preferences), messages you send on the platform, payment records, and verification documents you choose to submit. Information collected automatically: device and login information (IP address, browser, approximate location) used for security and fraud prevention.
How we use it
To operate the service: showing your profile to compatible members according to your privacy settings, computing compatibility scores, delivering messages and notifications, processing payments, and providing customer support. For safety: screening messages for scam patterns, reviewing photos before publication, and investigating reports. We do not sell your personal data to third parties, and we do not show your profile in search engines unless you explicitly opt in.
Verification documents
Identity, education, and employment documents are used solely to review your verification request. References to these documents are permanently deleted immediately after review — approved or rejected. They are never visible to other members.
Your controls and rights
You control photo visibility (including blur-until-accepted), last-name visibility, online-status visibility, who may message you, and search-engine indexing — all from Privacy Settings. You may request a copy of your data or delete your account at any time; deleted accounts are deactivated immediately and permanently erased after a 30-day recovery window, in line with GDPR and similar regulations.
Data security
Passwords are hashed with modern algorithms and cannot be read by anyone, including us. Sensitive data is encrypted, access is role-restricted and audit-logged, and payment card details never touch our servers — they are handled entirely by our payment providers.
